Mobilicity adds inexpensive Nokia smartphone to its line-up

Mobilicity today announced the addition of the Nokia 500 to its line-up. The Nokia 500 is a mid-range smartphone for budget-conscious Canadians looking to take advantage of the wireless operators $10 unlimited data add-on.

The Nokia 500 features include: a 1GHz processor , a 3.2-inch touch display with 640×360 pixel screen resolution, a full-screen QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, and microSD card slot that supports up to an additional 32GB of data.

Running on the Symbian Anna operating system, the device also gives users the ability to create their own mobile hotspots and connect other Wi-Fi devices to the Internet.

Social media users can take advantage of the integrated Social App widget which enables users to view social networking status updates, tweets, personal messages and events on the home screen.

The Nokia 500 sells for $170.
