Rogers Cable adds the Weather Network HD to its line-up

Rogers Cable this week added the high definition version of the Weather Network to its television line-up in Ontario.

The station says its HD broadcast provides viewers with clearer weather news and information and a bigger and better picture of maps and data.

Digital Cable subscribers in Ontario will able to view the station on channel 586. No word yet on when Rogers customers in Atlantic Canada will see the station in their HD line-up.

The Weather Network HD debuted on May 30th of this year. The English language specialty channel is now available on Rogers Cable in the GTA area, MTS in Manitoba and Cogeco in Southwestern Ontario.
