Rogers Cable now offering 3D Movies on demand

Rogers Cable has announced that, starting today, it will offering 3D movies on its video on demand service.

Video on Demand (VOD) is a generic term typically used to define a pay-per-view television service in which a viewer can order a television program from a menu and have it delivered instantly to the television set, typically with the ability to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward programming.

Rogers digital cable customers who have a high definition cable set top box, 3DTV television and active 3D glasses will be able to order 3D movies through the Rogers Video on demand portal on channel 100 for $7.99.

The first 3D movies offered are Gnomeo and Juliet and Tron: Legacy, with at least one new 3D title being added every month.
