Music Video on demand coming to Cogeco

Cogeco Cable said today that its adding Galaxies’ Music Videos on Demand (MVOD) service to its Video On Demand (VOD) channel in Québec and Ontario.

The service lets users search and watch music videos in the same way they can use their VOD service to search and watch television programs and movies.

Customers will be able to choose from 12 playlists and 100 individual songs which will be updated on a regular basis by Stingray Digital, a Montreal based company which programs the service.

For music lovers and aspiring singers, Cogeco is also offering Stingray’s Karaoke Channel On Demand service which features a catalogue of 500 songs which could help to liven up some family gatherings this holiday season.

The new Music Video on Demand service will be offered free of charge to all digital TV subscribers who have access to Cogeco On Demand in Québec and Ontario.

    Knowing Cogeco, we’ll get 50 blank channels, then maybe they’ll add actual content two years later.
