Cogeco bolsters its Video on demand offerings

Cogeco Cable announced this week that it has bolstered its Video on demand line-up in Ontario and Quebec.

In Ontario, digital cable customers will soon have access to programming from the Global Television network including such shows as Glee, Survivor, Hawaii Five-O. New episodes will be added each week.

In Quebec, customers with access to Cogeco’s Video on demand channel will be able to watch a election of Radio-Canada’s most watched shows including Et Dieu créa… Laflaque, Les Parent, La galère, Les rescapés, Mauvais karma, Tout sur moi, 3600 secondes d’extase, L’épicerie, La facture and Paquet voleur.

Subscribers can watch the popular shows by selecting the Tou.tv option from the TV shows menu as they become available by selecting the “Zone Télé” option in the Cogeco On Demand main menu (Channel 299). New episodes will be added each week.

Video on Demand (VOD) is a generic term typically used to define a pay-per-view television service in which a viewer can order a television program from a menu and have it delivered instantly to the television set, typically with the ability to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward programming.
