Sonos adds iPod dock to its line-up

Sonos, makers of wireless music systems for the home, announced today the introduction of the a Wireless dock which will be available to consumers in October.

The device, which will sell for $119 in the States and $139 in Canada, lets Sonos owners play music from an iPod or iPhone through their Sonos music system. In order to do that today you would have to physically connect the iPod or iPhone to a Sonos Zone Player via the headphone jack.

The Sonos Wireless Dock is compatible with the following devices: iPod touch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation), iPod classic, iPod nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation), iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPhone
