Bell Mobility announces NFL video package

Bell Mobility and the NFL today announced a multi-year deal which will give Bell Mobility subscribers the ability to watch select NFL games and programming on Bell Mobility phones across Canada.

Subscribers to Bell’s NFL Mobile package will have access to primetime NFL games – those airing on Sunday, Monday and sometimes Thursday night – all post season games and access 24/7 to the NFL Network.

Sunday afternoon games will not be included, however users will still be able to watch live action on NFL Redzone which airs Sundays from 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm eastern.

The NFL mobile video package can be added to an existing Bell Mobile TV subscription for an additional $8 a month plus applicable data charges. The first game will be Thursday’s regular season opener from New Orleans.

“The NFL is hugely popular with Canadians and Bell is very excited to be the league’s exclusive wireless telecommunications service sponsor in Canada,” said Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility.
