Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 9 announced

Adobe Systems, best known for its high end photo and video editing software, today announced the latest version of its consumer photo- and video-editing software for Windows will be released this holiday season.

The company also announced that, for the first time, both Photoshop and Elements would be available for the Mac Platform.

New features in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9 include an improved organizer that works with both applications, a content aware fill feature for repairing photos and a number of new editing options such as Out of bounds which can make an element in a photo appear to be coming off the page.

Another fun feature is Cartoon Effects which lets you turn your video into an animated film.

Photoshop Elements 9 or Premiere Elements 9 will ship in time for the holidays and will sell for $100 USD each or as a bundle for $150 USD.
