Business apps for sale at Google Marketplace

Google this week launched the Google Apps Marketplace, an online store which offers a collection of business services and applications that work over the net.

The company says that at launch, more than fifty companies are selling cloud applications in the marketplace.

Although it’s exciting to have another store to shop at, this one will be of little interest to consumers since most applications and services are business related. Some apps are standalone while others are add-on products designed to enhance what you can be down with existing Google doc products.

Among the applications available are: Intuit Online Payroll, a small business payroll application; Manymoon: a free work and project management application for Google Apps; Aviary Design Suite, a free tools and templates package that works inside Google Docs; TripIt, a travel organizer; and OffiSync, a synchronization tool for Microsoft office products.
