Novus now offers 200 Mbps Internet Service

Novus, a privately owned company in Vancouver which provides Internet, television, and digital phone service to condominiums and apartments in Metro Vancouver, is now offering the fastest High Speed Internet service in all of Canada.

Thanks to its Fibre-to-the-Building (FTTB) network, the company is now offering select customers in Metro Vancouver Internet speeds in Canada of 200 megabits per second (Mbps).

The company’s NET 200 package has been available since February 12th. It offers 200 Mbps download speeds, 10 Mbps upload speed and a bandwidth cap of a whopping 750 Gigabytes per month. At $279.95 per month, it’s not cheap rather it’s suited for internet users who demand ultra high speeds and the ability to download vast amounts of data.

Novus also offers three other residential packages including Net 20, which for $37.50, far exceeds the offerings of pretty much every cable and telecommunications company in Canada. The Net 20 plan offers 20 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload and a bandwidth cap of 110 GB per month.

“Canadians want a service provider that delivers a fast Internet connection to meet their growing needs at a reasonable cost,” said Doug Holman, Co-President and Chief Financial Officer of Novus Entertainment Inc.

Its too bad that Shaw is going after Novus by offering very cheap service. Novus is by far a superior provider of cable and internet and I hope they can ride out this assault from evil Shaw.
