Sirius XM holiday music programming now on

hollySirius XM today launched two of its five limited run holiday music channels.

Launching today is Holly, which will feature contemporary holiday music as well as traditional favourites, including songs by John Mayer, Colbie Caillat, Josh Groban and Michael Buble and Holiday Traditions will feature traditional holiday recordings from the ’40s through the ’60s by artists such as Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Ray Conniff and Nat “King” Cole.

Holly runs through to New Year’s Eve on Sirius channel 3 and XM Channel 23. Holiday Traditions runs until the end of Christmas day on Sirius and XM Channel 4.

Other limited run channels, which begin on December 7th include Holiday Pops, Country Christmas and Radio Hanukkah.

  • Holiday Pops will broadcast carols sung by the greatest classical musicians of all-time including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Luciano Pavarotti, Boston Pops and Leontyne Price among others. Holiday Pops will air beginning December 7 and runs until the end of Christmas day on Sirius Channel 79 and XM Channel 77.
  • Country Christmas will feature a wide-ranging assortment of country Christmas music, including Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and Kenny Rogers. Country Christmas will air beginning December 7 and runs until the end of Christmas day on Sirius Channel 62 and XM Channel 10.
  • Radio Hanukkah will broadcast a celebration showcasing Hanukkah music and Jewish culture. Radio Hanukkah will air from December 7th to December 19th on Sirius Channel 76 and XM Channel 28.
