At CES in Las Vegas, Panasonic showed off their new 3D-capable home theatre which included new 3D capable Plasma HDTVs, 3D capable Blu-ray player and 3D active-shutter glasses.

The company says consumers will be able to get their hands on the new line of 3DTV's in spring 2010 with models ranging in size from 50 to 65-inches.



The 3-D feature will be part of Panasonic's new VT series 1080p plasma. The 3-D models will include support for the new HDMI 1.4 specification and will come with one pair of active shutter glasses.

3DTV models announced include the: TC-P50VT20 - 50 inches; TC-P50VT25 - 50 inches; TC-P54VT25 - 54 inches; TC-P58VT25 - 58 inches; and the TC-P65VT25 - 65 inches

At the trade show, the company also introduced its DMP-BDT350 Blu-ray player for playback of 3-D titles and its 3D active shutter glasses.

As a high-end model, the BDT350 includes 7.1 channel analog outputs; two of those: one HDMI 1.4 outputs and an enhanced version of VIERA Cast that can stream content from Netflix and Pandora in addition to YouTube, Picasa, Amazon Video on Demand and other services available on the VIERA Cast platform.
