New Viewsonic monitor uses just 15 Watts of power

ViewSonic today announced its new 19-inch LED Widescreen Monitor (model VX1932wm) which the company says uses just 15 watts of energy.

The company says the new Energy Star 5.0 compliant LCD monitor is mercury free and uses 50% less power than a traditional 19 inch monitor without compromising the viewing quality.

Viewsonic VOT 550 Mini PC includes Blu-ray Player

ViewSonic, best known for their computer displays, today announced the expansion of its mini PC lineup with the new VOT530 and Blu-ray enabled VOT550.

The new small-format PCs are ideal for enjoying digital media anywhere in the home while using considerably less energy than a stanadard tower PCs.

Viewsonic intros VPD400 Movie Book media player

Viewsonic, best known for their computer displays, today announced its new palm sized VPD200 MovieBook portable media player which lets users view photos, videos and listen to music while on the go.

Features of the VPD400 include: a 4.3-inch, 800×480 high-resolution LCD screen; 8GB of internal memory; Micro SD storage slot and an estimated battery life of up to 12 hours of audio and up to six hours of video.

ViewSonic releases VMP70 Digital Media player

Viewsonic, best known for their computer displays, announced today its new VMP70 direct-connect, HD media player.

To use the device, users simply connect an external hard drive with their favourite music, photo and video files to the VMP70 which then connects to your HDTV via component or included HDMI cable.

Viewsonic mini-desktop attaches to the back of your monitor

Viewsonic, best known for their computer displays, announced today that it will begin shipping its VOT132 PC mini on October 22nd in conjunction with the release of the Windows 7 operating system.

The tiny computer weighs just over a pound and, to minimize its footprint on the desktop, can be attached to the back of a monitor with the included VESA mount.
