Internet now has over 205 million domains

The number of Internet domain names grew by nearly 3.5 million in the final three months of 2010 according to Verisign’s Domain Name Industry Brief released today.

The report says the total number of registered domains increased by 12.1 million names or 6.3 percent during 2010 bringing the number of registered domain names across all Top Level Domains (TLDs) to 205.3 million.
