Score secures rights to FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2011
Score Media Inc. announced today it has secured the television rights to the semi-final and final matches of the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2011.
The games will air later this week with Qatari side Al Sadd taking on Barcelona in the first semi-final at Toyota Stadium, while Japan’s Kashiwa Reysol will meet Santos of Brazil in the second match in Yokohama.
Score secures English language rights to Copa América
Score Media announced today that it has secured the English language Canadian broadcast rights to Copa América. Spanish language broadcasts will air on TLN.
The Copa América (Spanish and Portuguese for “America Cup”), is Latin Americas biggest football event featuring the best soccer teams from twelve countries in Latin America, including the host country Argentina and defending champion Brazil.
Score announces exclusive FIFA World Cup programming
Score Media and the CBC last week announced a broadcasting deal which will provide the Score Television Network with exclusive 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa content for Canadian viewers.
Under the terms of the deal, the CBC is giving The Score access to extended highlights of each World Cup match and content to provide additional coverage of every team.
