Nintendo DSi XL to launch next month
Nintendo has announced they will launch the Nintendo DSi XL, a larger-sized version of their DSi handheld in North America on March 28th.
The primary benefit of the new DSi XL is a screen that measures 4.2 inches diagonally and has a surface area which Nintendo says is 93% larger than its predecessor.
Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks now out for Nintendo DS
Spirit Tracks, the fifteenth installment of The Legend of Zelda series, was released today by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld game console.
Since its inception in 1986, more than 59 million games in The Legend of Zelda series have been sold worldwide with Spirit Tracks expected to become one of this years and next years biggest video game sellers.
Super Mario Brothers.Wii expected to sell 15 million units
Last week the latest installment in the Call of Duty video game franchise “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2″ racked up an amazing $310 million in sales and is expected by many analysts to be this year’s top selling video game.
While Modern Warfare 2 may be the biggest selling game of 2009, longer term the bigger seller may be Super Mario Bros.Wii which was released this week by Nintendo.
