California based Netflix has announced that its “Just for Kids” section is now available to Netflix members in Canada on the Wii game console.
The child friendly category, created in August but only available through the Netflix website until now, caters to the almost 50% of Netflix members who have watched at least two movies or shows made for kids in the last 90 days.
Just more than a week after it said it would launch a new video game console in 2012, Nintendo announced today that effective May 15th, it was dropping the price of its Wii gaming system to $150 from $200.
The price drop should help to boost Wii Sales which have slumped 20% in each of the past two years.

Netflix announced today that, effective immediately, Nintendo Wii owners in the United States and Canada will be able to stream content to their game console without the need for a disc.
The Netflix service has been available on the Wii console in the United States since April 12, 2010, and in Canada since Sept. 22, 2010 but using the service was cumbersome since users were required to insert a disc every time they wanted to use the streaming service.
Nintendo announced today it is dropping the price of its Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL video game systems in the United States.
Starting September 12th, the Nintendo DSi system will sell in the U.S. for $149.99, down from $169.99. The Nintendo DSi XL system will be $169.99, down from $189.99. Pricing for the Nintendo DS Lite model will remain at a suggested retail price of $129.99.
