Starbucks Canada has launched a free iOS application which lets Canadian customers pay for their purchases right from their iPhone.
The app builds upon the mobile payment rolled out in the U.S earlier this year and the Starbucks Rewards loyalty card program launched last month in this country.
An updated version of Sirius Canada’s iPhone and iPod Touch app is now available on the iTunes Canada app store.
Version 1.1, the first update since the app was launched in November 2009, includes support for iOS 4 multitasking.

The free application brings many of the features and functionality that can be found on the industry trade groups website plus some mobile specific features.
