TSN World Junior Championship Hockey Schedule
Starting Boxing Day, TSN and TSN2 will be broadcasting twenty-three World Junior Championship games including the playoffs, and Bronze and, of course, the Gold Medal games on January 5th, 2012.
TSN announces its broadcast schedule for the World Junior Championship
Bell Media announced this week it would be broadcasting twenty-six World Junior Championship games over the next three weeks, including all Team Canada match-ups, the playoffs, and Bronze and Gold Medal games.
The Junior Championship has done well for TSN in recent years with Team Canada’s heartbreaking loss to Team Russia at last year’s championship delivering an average audience of 6.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched broadcast ever on the digital specialty channel.

The premiere of the four part reality series “24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the NHL Winter Classic” starts tonight on HBO Canada.
The show takes viewers rink-side building up to the two teams matchup at the fifth edition of the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
Rogers and Bell announce deal to buy 75% of MLSE
Bell Canada and Rogers Communications announced today they have agreed to purchase a 75% ownership position in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) from Ontario Teachers Pension Plan. Each company will own a 37.5% equity interest.
MLSE is Canada’s largest sports and entertainment company and owners of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Marlies and Toronto FC.
24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road To The NHL Winter Classic on HBO
HBO Canada announced today its joining forces with the National Hockey League to present 24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the NHL Winter Classic.
The four part reality series takes HBO subscribers rink-side beginning Wednesday, December 14 at 10 p.m. ET/MT, building up to the two teams matchup at the fifth edition of the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
For Rogers customers only: Leafs games streamed online
Rogers said this week that it will offer its VIP digital cable customers free live streaming of twenty nine Toronto Maple Leaf games through its Video on Demand internet portal.
Starting on Monday, October 17, all regular season games broadcast seen on Sportsnet and Leafs TV, plus additional on-demand programming such as Game In Six Minutes or Game In One Hour, will be available online to customers within the Leafs territory.

Sportsnet releases HockeyCentral iPad app
Rogers this week released the HockeyCentral iPad application which keeps NHL fans up to date on the latest NHL news, scores and stats.
Released in time for the World Junior Championships, Rogers says the app will also feature Sportsnet analysts Nick Kypreos, Doug MacLean and host Daren Millard providing coverage of the Semi-final match-ups on Monday, January 3rd, including the Bronze and Gold Medal games on Wednesday, January 5th.
