Telus' Pre authorized payment plan
Telus' preauthorized payment plan withdraws the amount due one day after my statement is printed.
Thus I never see my bill before paying. The CSR has informed me that they cannot change the date of withdrawal.
I find this very frusterating. I am willing to pay but I would like to know what I am paying BEFORE paying. According to the CSR if there is a problem, they will adjust on the next bill so why worry about it.
I have cancelled the pre authorized payment plan but still like automatic withdrawal and wish they can make this small adjustment.
Has anybody else have a similar issue?

It does not suprise me that Telus would do it that way. I personally haven't had cause to have any serious questions with a Telus bill, but fear of them withdrawing too much is one of the reasons I wouldn't allow them to do automatic withdrawls.
All it takes is one serious billing error, and all of a sudden you could have the money that is in your account for your mortgage payment going to the wrong company.
