Personally I would like to see the following additions to the HD package in 2009:

CNN
TLC
The Golf Channel
NFL Network
and... more HD channels in the Super Sports Pack.

CNN-HD is definitely overdue.

Default HD On Demand

I know this was asked in the 2008 thread, and I did search for more info but could not find any.

Is there any plans to roll out on Cogeco HD On Demand or is there bandwidth limitations today that prevent such a service being rolled out. And if so, what is the next infrastructure upgrade that would allow this service (and is it 2009, 2010, or later)?

The Accessible Channel is rolling with programming now. It's a hodge podge of shows with descriptive video.

talked to a cogeco rep today and he said that Speed HD is not in the line up yet but its coming in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully it will come before the gatorade duals start.

Did he mention whether we have to fork over more money or will it be part of the regular HD package?

from what he said I believe that it will be part of the current HD pack so the price will stay the same

Default Any chance Cogeco adds the MLB Network anytime soon?

Or is it gonna be the same old crap as the NFL Network?

Any chance of Cogeco getting Global and/or City TV OD, or is that locked up with Rogers? I noticed they have 24 Season 7 OD for free, so at least one Global show is available now.

Default CBC Newsworld

I see that Rogers now offers CBC Newsworld in HD. Has anyone heard/read any similar rumblings from Cogeco? I like to watch The National at 9pm on Newsworld instead of 10pm on CBC. It would be nice to have it in HD.

Wishful thinking most likely!

Cheers!
