Don't have that handy but I didn't need it, just referenced it and asked if they would honour it. Rep almost bit my hand off to sign me up.

Just call and ask for it, tell them you're not sure how much you'll use the radio and this is a good way for you to try. Good luck.

Just purchased a new vehicle (Ford Focus 2012) and had assumed it was registered to Sirius Canada. Entered my VIN number on the Sirius Canada site and saw that it said it wasn't activated w/ Sirius Canada although there was programming available.

Called SiriusXM and registered both my VIN and ESN numbers. No problem. However, only received a three-month free trial (vs. 6 in Canada). But, the big thing for me is the ability to add the Sirius Premier package so that I can get the Opie & Anthony channel, plus the NHL Home Ice & MLB Network Radio. Then the CSR gave me a discount for the premier package, and then gave me half off my INNO sub, which is on the XM side! FTW!

So, what I was most made aware of is that, when you buy a car in Canada, it's not already registered to/activated with Sirius Canada. You can activate it w/ SiriusXM (providing you have a US address, etc.). Very happy to have my mornings w/ O&A again!

Just lost my reception after almost 3 years of free XM that came with my '09 Toyota that I bought in the US. I guess all good things must com to an end. I finally had to sign up and got 6 months for $27.55 all in with a Montana address. Used my Canadian cc and phone # with no problems.

I called up for a new subscription and used my parents address in the states with my Quebec phone number and Canadian cc. They first offered me 6 months for $25 but that was only XmSelect. I said I wanted stern so to forget it. Called back got a new rep and she gave me 6 months of XMPremire for $39 after taxes and royalties. Took 5 mins. No codes. No hassle. No questions.

I set a reminder in my phone for 6 months. I'll call up theaten to cancel and get the same deal or better. Also got a $50 rebate on my vehicle connect device which was oly open to US accounts. Glad I did my research. Saved myself $200.

Say what?

Following the rapid demise of a Starmate GTX and a Stiletto, I purchased a Stiletto 2 from Future Shop in 2010 and this thing is subbed to my US account and works just fine.

My Ford currently has Canadian Sirius.

Can I cancel it, and start a US account?
