Default Removing channels from Guide?

I have the Rogers VIP package with no added channel packs and was wondering if there is any way to remove channels from my guide that I don't have?

For example with BEV you press guide once for all channels, twice to view available channels.

This question has come up on the forum many times and the answer is basically no. There are several (not very good) workarounds.

- Make a list of favourites and you can use the FAV button to go to those.
- use the parental control feature on the channels and the info will not be displayed on those channels.

The cable service providers seem to want you to see what you're missing.

Have a look at the following post, useful for those new to the forum:

No way to do this (I asked as well)
Seems silly since it gives the parents no parental control (eg ability to block channels or ppv)

You can block access to channels or programmes, but you still see the programme title.
