I have a two 505s. One is hooked up via a DVI to HDMI cable, the other via a component cable. Both are hooked up to a Sharp 46D64U, which supports 1080p. In both cases, the broadcast signal is coming in at 1080i. I can't find anything on the recievers nor the TV that deals with this specifically. So I'm not sure if it has to do with the TV, the receivers, both or neither one. Is this just the signal itself, meaning that the hardware has nothing to do with it? Or can I set something on the receivers that will get it to send over the signal in 1080p?

There are no satellite-delivered 1080p signals. You're fine.
