I bought a 50" panny GT25 a couple months back. The advertised price was 1299 which I was ready to pay; as I waited for a sales rep to come over, another customer entered the store with a flyer and wanted to speak to the manager. Being the curious person that I am I asked the gentlemen if I could see the flyer which turned out to be from a local tv/audio store that was listing the same tv for 999. That store special had expired 2 weeks ago and the store had sold out of those tvs. After some light arm pulling about how we were about to buy 2 tvs, the manager agreed to match the price. Talk about right place at the right time.
I'd like to see BB or FT do that. |
