Do you know whether he sells BP-819 replacement (Canon prorietary intelligent battery) and NB-6L (also proprietary intelligent battery). I've bought some from eBay but my cameras can't show how much battery left and I can't even use the original charger to charge those 3rd party replacement for intelligent batteries. I ended up spending $130 (each) for the secondary batteries

He's a straight up guy - I'll email him and ask him. I see the NB-6L on his website for $4.24 and $3.67 shipping, or $7.85 for 2 and $5.50 shipping (all Cdn $). I don't see the BP-819, but he may not have got it in yet, or maybe there's another reason. I'll let you know what he says.

David - Here is Eric's reply:

I carry the NB-6L, but it's not a smart/data battery - it's not required by the cameras it fits. I wonder if they were confused with the LP-E6, which requires a smart/data battery.
I carry a BP-819 battery, but it isn't a smart battery. It has an LED battery meter right on the battery to show remaining battery life. Also, it must be charged either with my stand-alone charger, or with the original Canon AC adapter, which plugs directly into the battery.
I sell the BP-819 for $12.00 each plus shipping.
I hope that will help the board members.

Hope that helps you - and gives you some options.
