One of my 530 will not turn on display is blank I hear the hard drive spinning
CSR wants me to pay 199 for replacement any one here got some secret reset for this unit

Do you pay the multi receiver fee? You say you have a couple of 530s. They are now covered for full warranty if you pay the fee.

Reason being.... My 530 just fried after accidentally turning off the power bar. I only have to pay $14 shipping. My 530 will cycle the lights, but no display also.

I have my account suspended as I was moving homes now i have dish setup this crap happens to me I have 5 irds in my home

If it was working before the move, and you had the MRF, they will most likely still cover you.

Just call and get another agent, if they don't do it, get a supervisor. It really shouldn't be that big of a deal for replacing this under warranty, considering you had it under warranty before the move.

How long has your account been suspended for the move? If maybe 3-4 months, ok I could see them being a bit iffy about replacing under warranty (who knows what happened to it during 3-4 months, right?), but if it's only a couple of weeks...
