Can't seem to get any of those Service Menu codes to work!
Are they up to date?

Thanks,

Thanks 57,
I'll look around for a bit, but inevitably, this box will be going back if I can't tweak that green out!

Thanks,
bill

wow! are you telling me you spent a small fortune on an hdtv and hdpvr ($15/month) and are too cheap to spend the extra $4.95/ month for hd?!? that's like buying a ferrari and never putting ur foot all the way to the floor while driving it never above the speed limit.

a pvr is certainly worth $15/month, but since eastlink is still analog for most of their channels, the resultant picture quality will very likely be inferior on a digital tv when compared to an old analog tv. analog sd on an hd set is truly a stomach churning experience.

Too cheap!?? LOL!!
I got a PVR for recording purposes. They are not available in non-HD, at least not from my Cable Service Provider. So HD is there whether I like it or not. Some programs are broadcast in HD.
I actually upgraded from a $1700 Hitachi HD RPTV to this newer Tosh LCD, which does show the deficiencies in analog more plainly.
However, the "green" problem is also visible on DVD movies as well, so it's not a non-HD Cable problem. I agree that analog on a HD TV is not pretty by any means!!
Thanks for the input!!

Cheers,
bill
