Default Receiving BEV and Dish Network at the same time

I currently have a setup with two satellite dishes. They are both DISH 500. I have two signals coming from one of the dishes for the 110 and 119 DISH satellites into a switch and the connection coming from the switch to my tv. I have the other dish pointed to the 91 BEV satellite and have the directly connected to another receiver.
Is it possible to put the connection from the 91 satellite into the switch as a 3rd input and then have the output from the swtich going to my DISH receiver and to my BEV receiver?
Will it mess up the BEV receiver if DISH network sends out a software update or mess up the DISH receiver if the BEV sends out a software update?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Why would you want the output of 91 to go to a Dish recvr? It can't pick up anything other than some free channels.

I don't think the BEV software will harm the Dish receiver, but then I haven't tried it like that.

-A- Can you explain it again? thanks

I do not want to get BEV channels on the DISH receiver or vice versa.
I have one BEV receiver, one DISH receiver, one TV and one cable coming from the switch. I want to plug the cable into the input of both receivers. I then want to take the output of both receivers and run them through an A/B switch hooked up to the tv. Then I just set the A/B switch to watch either BEV or DISH.

Oh, in that case...

The A/B switch thing will work. I don't think the switch coming from the dishes will work, however. BEV & Dish both use the same kind of recvr. & I think the channel setup will get "confused" to the receivers, since the channel layout overlaps between the 2 systems.

So, what I would do is run the Dish 500 straight to the DishNet rcvr. then run a cable from the 91 dish to the BEV. I use the same thing only it's a separate sat. dish on 119 & 91 with separate cables. How's that?

Why not run another coax ? A lot simpler and possibly cheaper?
