6100 Password Problem

Have had a few minor problems with the 6100 but this morning something new happened. When I went to change my favourites listing.....the password screen came up and said to enter the password as it was locked. This is a bit strange since I have not used any password on the unit. It would not switch or change channels for about ten minutes then appeared to be operating normally with the exception that the locked password icon shows up. First question is how can I clear the password screen....have no idea what password it thinks it needs. Dispite claims to the contrary that the recent card change is the culprit.....I am not convinced as the 6100, in my case, is not as "stable" as it previously was. Hopefully this is not an indication that the unit is failing.

Call Bell TV support. They can clear it.
