Now that I'm caught up, I can go back into this thread.

Good finale. I like the whole dueling universe premise. They can take the story line in a lot of different directions.

What's the over-under on when Peter/Walter figure out Olivia has been swapped?

I'm betting as soon as Walter sees the Tatoo...although with Peter's interest in the dark haired Olivia...he may be more likely to see the back of her neck

I think if either of the Bishops spends any significant face to face time with other-Olivia, she would be discovered pretty quickly, as they are both different enough in terms of their experiences, especially after real-Olivia revealed her feelings for Peter.

I wonder what the observers are up to. We had an episode in the past of an observer altering a sequence of events that they were very insisting on fixing to not influence anything. And then we had an observer leave a piece of paper behind what revealed what Peter's purpose is supposed to be. So are they just observing or carefully crafting an outcome? And who are they?

I wonder how the story would've developed had they not left that piece of schematics behind for Olivia.

Cool who kissed Peter?

I thought that parallel Olivia kissed Peter in the last episode, although it didn't occur to me until later, when the writers let us know that the Olivias got swapped.

When does Fringe start up again? (I'm at work which severely limits my google-search ability)

Seems like it's on a longer than your typical mid-season break.

I think Fringe has really started to get good the past few weeks. It has almost become very Lost-like, especially the last episode. It seemed like they summed up the whole season of Lost (season 4 I think?) where everything was about fate. The same season where Michael blew up the freighter and finally died. I also swear that I hear some of the music they used on Lost when something is about to happen on Fringe.

Anybody else notice this?

Fringe looked to to dying a slow death, but I have noticed the last few weeks have picked up. Fringe is broken into two types of shows. Episodes which follow the full series arc....the two universes, Peter, Walternate, etc. And then these one off episodes where they solve an unrelated case.

I like the larger story arc, and they look to be finishing the season on a strong note. I can't confirm the Lost comparisons, though. Never came to mind.

Fox has renewed Fringe for next year. Full 22 episode order. This is much better news than I was expecting.

Cool awesome writing

I find it amazing how the writers will switch worlds for an entire episode; and even spend an entire episode for a flashback. Having Anna Torv doing three characters now is certainly unexpected for me.

I also enjoy the neat things like a "show-me" instead of an identity card; the minimalist ear piece cell phones; nick names like Fauxlivia and Walternate.

Love this show!

What I was really impressed with was how she mastered the raised eyebrow
