Default Onkyo TX-SR605 1080P Pass-through

Does anyone use their TX-SR605 to pass thru 1080P to their TV? Is their any degrading in the PQ?

Or more specifically, has anyone done a direct to the TV and then a through the receiver comparison check?

Theres a difference from the video going from the source to the tv vs source to amp to tv. The point is I noticed the colors with brighter, things were sharper etc.. so humm maybe someone can help me out on this,, i believe you turn your amp off, hold the aux button and turn the amp on. You will then have a set of configurations for the video output from the amp.
