Default Pioneer VSX-918V A/V Receiver Review

I’m going to depart from the norm and tell you my conclusion up front. The VSX-918V outperformed my expectations. This is quite a fine-sounding budget receiver. So keep on reading.

MSRP for this in Canada is $449 so might be ideal for folks looking to spend

Doesn't seem to make much sense to me, since you can get the 1018 for just over $100 more.

Quote:
The HDMI output did not pass the onscreen menus;
This is a real no-no on an HDMI AVR.
