I was wondering if you can record Pay per View movies (and HD Pay per view movies) using the PVR in the 9242? I can't image why not but I just wanted to confirm.
Thanks |

Yes you can !
I made an order 2 months ago for a HD movie on my 9242. The order was made via the web site. I was able to record it, no problem. But the best part, Bell forgot to charge me! |

my june invoice had a movie from march on it.
Yes, you can record (and playback) PPV events. My worry is, was, if a PPV event goes into overtime, the timer can not be extended. Fortunately hasn't been an issue. yet.

Tried that. They couldn't (wouldn't) provide a credit because the charge hadn't shown up on the bill. When it showed up, 3 months later, the CSR again had problems issuing a credit because it was so old. You've just gotta luv EV's billing system.
![]() As for recording PPVs. Yes you can, but... It will likely get erased automatically at some point in the future. PPVs are supposed to be erased after 24 hours. My experience is that it takes a little longer but don't expect to keep them indefinitely. |

Strange. I've been issued a credit for charges that haven't appeared on my bill for a couple more billing cycles.

I have recorded PPV in the past on my 9200, and since it was a kid's movie, I locked it so it wouldn't get overwritten, and it's been there ever since :-)
During my brief foray with Rogers and the SA8300, one of the many unpleasant suprises was when I paid for a Rogers on Demand title, and then found that you couldn't record it. |

On Demand cannot be recorded due to the way it's sent. PPV is different and I believe you can record it on Rogers.
