Sony 32HS500 and "PCTV" - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

I'm slowly working on a PCTV project, I have the Sony 32HS500; this model's documentation states:

"The DVI-HDTV input terminal is compliant with the EIA-861 standard and is not intended for use with personal computers."

Does this mean that this model is not a candidate for output of digital media from a PC? Are there work-arounds?

I'm in the early stages of figuring all this out, so be patient with me!

I too have the same TV and never got a clear answer on that. My son even worked for Sony store and he couldn't answer it.
