I would.
Silverlight is Microsoft's competitor to Flash. If it says Important, it is probably to fix a major bug or security flaw. The other one is a new driver for your Ethernet port. I've accepted several driver updates from MS without a problem, so I'm pretty sure you'll be OK too.

for the ethernet port, if you update driver from the manufacturer's site, than don't download the driver from WU as it will be older.

Not necessarily. Sometimes I find WU drivers to be more recent than the manufacturer. At least this is the case with my HP laptop.

General rule with update driver in Windows Update, check the date/version of the current installled driver. If it's older than the one in Windows Update, then go ahead a install it. Otherwise it's better to ignore. Also advise to make sure you have the System Restore enabled so should an update driver cause issues, you can the rollback to the old one. But like technut said, most drivers are safe. I would be only cautious when the driver was installed by the OEM, there could be variations that would cause some driver to fail to install or not fonction properly.

Microsoft Silverlight is not necessary. Just uninstall it. MS will probably want to install it again. Don't bother unless you regularly visit a site that requires it. I would get the ethernet driver update or check the motherboard maker's site for the latest and ignore the MS update.
