HI all, Just a quick concern. Had a friend over who used his live account and we both played halo3 online together. However, the game automaticly goes into 4:3 ratio, Only the ingame not menu. Is there any way around this. We have done the same thing at his place not a problem.
thanks Mike |

When people first complained about the black bars Bungie justified the screen arrangement thusly: "We've also done something cool with the splitscreen display for HD monitors - instead of stretching the horizontal or vertical axes into big, scary too wide or too tall horrors, we've sensibly windowed the action, maintaining lots of screen real estate, but preserving a proper, playable aspect ratio."
In short, it's the way the game was designed to be displayed in splitscreen. There is always the option to go into the Dashboard and lower the resolution to 480p and the screen type to normal instead of widescreen, but that just stretches and distorts the image. |
