Default Samsung LNXXA650 Owner's Thread

I'll be getting my 52A650 delivered tomorrow; what do the owners think of them?
Any words of wisdom as to what to expect from the TV?

I got the 52A650 yesterday, and it is flawless.. and HUGE!

I like how my Harmony remote is now able to change the input directly, instead of cycling through to get to the specific input. Now even when I don't have my PS3 turned on, the TV chooses the right input unlike my older Samsung LCD!

Default Samsung 550 vs 650 series. Worth it?

I am new to this site, so excuse my post if it has already been discussed...
Is the 650 series that much better than the 550 one? I understand the 120Hz, etc, but it is a lot of money between the two? Any opinions?

just my opinion. I turned the Movie Plus 120hz of right away. I hate the look, unless on video games.

Thumbs up one of the best LCD's CR has tested

I am surprised no one has mentioned the Consumer Reports praise for this LCD:

Thumbs up CR on 52A650

CR's Take
This top-rated 52-inch 1080p model from Samsung is one of the best TVs we've ever tested. It has excellent picture quality across the board, and was one of the few tested models with excellent sound.

Highs
Excellent picture quality across the board, with top-notch detail that makes the most of HD programming. Has very accurate colors and better-than-average black levels. Contrast was very good, giving images depth and dimension. Excellent reproduction of scenes with subtly shaded light-to-dark areas. Excellent film-mode operation effectively eliminates jagged edges--"jaggies"-- on movie content. Has 120Hz technology that effectively reduces, but does not eliminate, motion blur. Excellent sound. The remote control is very easy to use; its backlit buttons are easy to see in the dark. On-screen menu is very easy to navigate.

Lows
Viewing angle was somewhat limited, so the picture lost some color, contrast, or brightness as we moved away from the center of the screen. Touch-sensitive controls on console are poorly labeled and difficult to read.

My LN52A650 is being delivered this Friday. Hopefully it is as good as all the reviews say it is. It will be replacing my 46" Toshiba 46HMX85 DLP, which is being moved to the living room.

my box had a black little access tabs on the lower sides, just pinch, pull them out and the top just lifts off.
