Default A "complete" list of HD DVD?

Is there a complete list of available HD DVD that were produced? I'm looking for First Blood but have not seen it anywhere. Plus, i would like to find any other movies I haven't seen on store shelves.

I don't know of a definative list, but a quick Google site confirms an HD DVD version. It's showing up on a bunch of torrent sites as well as Amazon (UK)

Check out this link for historical releases on the defunct HD DVD format. First Blood is not found.

It's definitely out there. A friend of mine bought it on ebay. Titled as "Rambo-First Blood" Search for import HDDVD's.

I'll show my ignorance here by asking whether these are PAL? And does that really matter with today's players and TVs?

It does not. HDTV is standard for the world. PAL and other video formats are not a concern.

You could also try XploitedCinema . They have lots of HD-DVD imports but they're not cheap either. I've thought about ordering T2 and both Underworld movies from them.

As for checking what's available in HD-DVD (and Bluray) I usually use hddb.net as it has links to reviews for the HD transfers of the movies and allows me to decide if the quality of the release is worth the purchase.

I bit the bullet and ordered Underworld (German release). Hopefully there's not too many (if any) customs or brokerage fees.
