Ok all, I know it's not a big theatre room but it turned out very nice and all went according to plan.
I hope you can all view the pics... the system has the following Samsung LN-T5265F, DCT-6416, Blue Ray, Yamaha 6080, Energy fronts, centre & rears, Velodyne-DPS12B Sub, XBox 360, all running on a harmony remote (which is sooo sweet). Hope you like. Let me know what you think or if you have any questions... http://www.cmackay.com/aboutme.html#new_unit2008 CMack

Very nice work. One recommendation - the 6416 usually gets pretty hot and should be "on top" so that it can have proper ventillation. It may also affect whatever is sitting on top of it - looks like a power center? You may somehow need to support the 6416 at the rear. Heat is a killer for electronics and I see that your new setup will be better than the old one.
What are those two black boxes under the electronics? Is that the center speaker down near the floor?

Fortunatly a friend has a cabinet shop, so I designed it and helped with install (he built it).
To answer 57's questions, the component above the 6416 is a power centre but it's not very deep and only covers the front half of the 6416, temp on the 6416 is running pretty good according to the diagnostic screen but I will keep an eye on that for sure. The 2 black "boxes" are actually just slack storage for the wiring (the back is totally open), the black box & electronics sit on a shelf that can be pulled out and swiveled 90 degrees to make easy wire connection access, if I add any electronics the black "box" can be cut down to make space. Yes that is a centre speaker down near floor, I was a little concerned about location but after set-up it seems to be fine. On the right & left of the centre speaker are flip down doors, housing slide out shelves that hold the XBox-360 (one side) and Playstation (other side). If I was doing it again I would have made the component cabinets deeper by cutting out the gyp rock and studs behind the unit. CMack
