Hello
When I am watching one show and if decided to record the rest of it and go on to watch another show, the recording will stop. I thought the DTVR is able to record two shows at a time in SD signal and one at a time with HD signal? Is there a different way to properly record the shows? Thank you |

hello Frosty Vibe
If you have HD DTVR Service, you can't record and watch but if you have SD DTVR, you can. I know it weird but due to the fact that HD uses more bandwidth than SD so Sasktel needs to come and change to SD in order to record and watch but if you have HD TV so why do that? Eh? I know it be nice to watch and record the other. When they have more bandwidth coming soon, they'll do it eventually, so i guess you have to just watch and record same time. Hope it helps you. Thanks |

Thanks for the reply cprich2007, that is indeed very odd but I guess I can live with it for now.

VDSL2 should be launching later this year, which will enable enough bandwidth for at least 2 HD streams. Once this is launched their will be a software update for your MAX box so that it will work for recording one channel and watching another.
