I have 360 that when I put the game in a white screen comes up and says " put in a xbox 360 disk and push play " or something like that. I have to keep turning xbox off and on for about 20 times and then it will run . It comes up as if i was trying to play movie dvd. It is a year and half old ( would that be a warranty or out off pocket)

Does it say "unreadable disc"? If so you have the dreaded dirty disc error--DDE. This would be an out-of-pocket repair, which could mean an equally defective refurbished unit for around $125. Welcome to my world....

I had the same problem and called MS. Mine wasn't playing any 360 games. I just had to ship my unit back to them and got a refurbished one a few weeks later...no charge.

Just call them or fill out the online form.

How old was your 360 when you sent it in? The warranty for non RROD failures is one year.
