Default Getting tired of waiting for Rogers!!!

I just thought I'd vent off some steam before another week of NFL goes by without me being able to watch the Sunday night game in HD! What's most frustrating at all is that no one knows if Rogers is even close to coming to terms with CTV to get TSN HD and Discovery HD on board. Sportsnet HD is pretty good but I'd make the move to ExpressVu in a heartbeat if it meant getting TSH HD (which carries ESPN HD). I only hope that we'll SOON have both!!!

You Rogers people should come to Halton and watch Cogeco for an hour

The CBS HD game of the week looked pretty good and the ESPN Sunday night game looked better than it did a few weeks ago.

I e-mailed Mike Lee at Rogers and asked him if Rogers was planning on carrying TSN HD. Like the first poster I am nervous that every week that passes is another Sunday night NFL game in HD that I am missing.

Mike replied promptly and said that Rogers is "planning on the carriage of TSN HD" but he did not say when this was going to happen. I assume this means that they are not close to inking the deal.

Here's hoping they get on it!!

Love Rogers HD otherwise. Well worth the money I put into my TV.

I wouldn't really blame Rogers for this one. I'm sure they want to offer it. I imagine that Bell is holding up negotiations, knowing that every week they hold off, people will be thinking about switching to ExpressVu

AFAIK Rogers Sportsnet isn't on BEV so I see it as a draw. Of course, if the customer came first, we wouldn't have this problem....

Otown47, you're probably correct, it's probably just a corporate pissing match. Of course if the consumer came first, we'd be watching DirectTV now so ......

This is why signal carriers should not be allowed to own content.

If this drags on, it'll likely end up in the hands of the CRTC.
