At 11 feet as u move down from centre you can see the top getting darker . Its almost un noticable unless your looking for it, but it is there. It starts to get very noticable at about 9 feet. At 11 feet if your eyse are about 5" above the bottom of the screen its not there at all that I can see.

Hi RossandMarita;
I was wondering if you have tried the USB port this model has for displaying pictures or playing music? If so what's your opinion of this feature? Thanks |

Thanks RossandMarita,
I think if I was at around 11 feet and tilted the set down it probably would be ok. Thanks for your help. |

Went to check out at Costco today but the only on they had was still in the box.
This would be a replacement for the 10 yr old Sony RPTV the the kid uses on the Wii. Concern I have is as since a lot of the games are played standing up, is the viewing angle. When using the current I'm about 7' away and eyes about 1 foot above the top of the screen. Wondering how the Samsung would perform? |

I bought the 61 from costco saturday. The stand that came with it wasn't deep enough for my AVR, plus i didn't like the expandable thingy anyway. Costco wouldn't give me a credit for not taking the stand, it comes with it.
I bought a Z-Line stand, Leon's, black/chrome, works good and put the TV a little higher so my feet aren't in the way when I recline. Need bigger speakers. HD picture is good! Quality varies greatly between different broadcastors, and varies greatly between different programs. Generally, the OTA tuner is slightly better than EVu, but thats what i expected. It's obvious (and looks bad) when broadcasters upconvert and try to pass off SD as HD. That was hard to notice on my 37". When picture quality is bad, its more noticeable on the big screen. Glad my wife talked me out of the 72. SD picture varies greatly as well depening on the source. At best, its fairly watchable. At worst, it really, really unwatchable. CNN is fuzzy, all hard to read and hard on the eyes, CP24 looks pretty good. Veiwing angle is ok for me. I'm not tall enogh to look down on the screen and i don't sit on the floor. Going to rent some BD's tomorrow.

Hey Tom! Great to see a fellow Ajaxian here! I'm aiming to get the 67A750 myself shortly.

Hi Lou, NTMU
On the big TV's, a lot of SD don't look so good. ![]() I'm 11 feet from the TV so pretty much perfect for HD, BD movies are excellent, but SD is too pixallated.

Does anyone know if BestBuy stopped selling these?
I don't think they ever carried the 67", but I don't even see the 61" on their website anymore. If both FS and BB have stopped carrying RPTV because of what Sony did or just because of slower sales, then shame on them. I guess if I want a 67" at an affordable price I'm going to have to head south of the border. I have a 6187S right now, but I'd like to upsize |

Does this mean they will stop making these,
or maybe the new thin ones will be coming out. (Organic led ones they had at CES08) |

I bought it for a real good price.
61" 750 series last one there, but they still had some new ones at the other costco, but I saved 500 and still have the 2 year guarantee, screen is impecable, no scratchs so I hope it is a good tv overall. |
