I received a card from Bell today telling me I can enjoy 3 free PPV movies before Jan 15th. My question is, do you think this would include Hi-Def PPV or just normal PPV. The card does not specify even in the fine print. The card states you have to visit bell.ca/rewards to collect the gift. Maybe this is to prepare us for the new charges coming Jan 1st.
Note: I just signed up and it is for standard def only. Here is the link: http://www.bell.ca/support/PrsCSrvTv...rewards_RM_URL Last edited by Shednblues; 2007-12-20 at 12:02 AM. |

When they give out free movies or when you take PPV packages it's for standard definition movies at 4.99$ only. Adult movies are excluded as well as high definition movies.
If you have standard def only what does it matter? Evene if you order the movie in hi def you won't be able to see it in high def, you need a high def receiver for that... I personnaly do not think it's a special Chritmas gift for you, but a part of the "new client" promo you signed for

Just looked at the link... I correct what I previously said, it's not part of the "new client deal" then...
I will sign up for it then. I borke my leg, i'm home, so got more time to watch TV. Thanks for the info! The part I hate is that they don't give you a confirmation number...agent are usually not aware of the rpomo on the bell.ca and are often told that they can not apply them. I expect lots of problem if I use the films and discount is not applied. You have 60 days from the day you sign on line to use the films

I get 90 days too. This is the reply I get after submission.
djino "Thank you! Your information will be processed. You have up to 90 days to order and view your PPV movies. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the credit to be applied on your account. Offer applies to $4.99 standard definition releases only. Happy Holidays from our family to yours!" |

You used the English site to suscribe? I used the French version, maybe the translation doesn't say the same... or I didn't read right. I don't recall that it mentionned that the movies are standard definition either. I have to sign in my uncle tonigh or tommorow since he doesn't have a e-mail or internet, I will use my other e-mail and sign him in, and will keep you inform about it

Did anybody print the confirmation page the system gave? I didn't cause my printer is down, but if someone did I would like to get a copy...it would help when were gonna call in to complain that the movies weren't credited

Why would it not be from the day the credit is applied? The delay in adding the credit has nothing to do with anything on my end. |

They are not applying the credit right away cause they don't know if you wil or not order the movie...
From the day that you order a movie it could take 4-6 week for the credit to be applied. In other works it is possible (altought if credit is entered correctly shoudn't happen) that you are billed for the film on your bill and the credt for the film only appears on the following bill.

I got the gift from BEV but I don't plan on using it. I don't have an hour to waste on the phone with them fighting for the money back. I never accept free PPV's from them ever again.
