Default TSN HD for NHL Hockey Games

Hey guys,

I'm just curious ... while watching the 1st period of the Leafs-Habs game tonight I found that the picture on both HD and SD channels were really choppy and glitchy for a couple seconds here and there. Anyone else notice that issue or was it just me? It seems to be doing good now, both channels.

Thanks Musashii

I see thanks ... yeah I watched the 1st half in HD and seemed to be a bit glitchy so then switched over to SD version and it seemed fine for the rest of the problem ... maybe its just a Cogeco issue.

The only thing glitchy I have seen is the defense.

lol at least the game is tied 2-2 through 2 periods and the Leafs actually have a chance of winning the game tonight at HOME for a change, and save John Ferguson Jr job for yet another day.

I am watching SD channel, had a few audio scratches and drop outs....Saw green for a split second at a point, and some glitches here and there. Also seemed fuzzy at some points.

My audio was all messed up during the beginning of the 3rd period. Must be a Cogeco thing.

I remember the commentators said at the beginning of the game it is available in HD and DD5.1 but I have no clue cause I don't have HD or DD5.1 yet only SD.

It was definitely in HD, at least in BC on Bell.

I was thinking the same thing. I just bought a Panny 1080P Plasma and am trying to evaluate the HD channels. To me the Leafs game looks very bad for HD. I switched over for a bit to "Dancing with the Stars and the pq looks amazing so it must be just the TSN HD feed. Switching back and forth from the Leafs game to "Big Break Mesquite", the golf channel looks as good maybe better than TSN leafs game.
