Sound Drop Out - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

I have a 9200 receiver.

Once every couple of minutes, the sound turns off for a second and then turns back on. It is very annoying.

It seems to happen more on HD stations and usually when I'm watching a recorded program.

I've tried switching the audio from optical to HDMI and the result is exactly the same on both. The sound drops out at irregular intervals for a second while the picture continues.

Is anyone else with 9200's experiencing this?
Is there anything that can fix it?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
