I have a RX-V1600 that receives HD signals via HDMI and puts them out to my projector via HDMI. Therefore, I dont have OSD unless I press the GUI button.
Once, as I was experimenting with different menu options in GUI, I entered an area where I was able to adjust the Sound Field Parameters such as Voice Lift. I have been unable to re-enter this area of the GUI and cant recreate the exact sequence that got me to this undocumented area. Has anyone else been able to adjust the Sound Field Parameters via the GUI on the 1600? Thank you. |

You should be able to adjust them without the OSD (on-screen display), as long as you know where they are. I find it very useful to download the pdf of the operating manual from the manufacturer's site and then searching it for terms like "voice" or "lift". That may find it - although you say it's undocumented. It should be accessible via the front screen of the AVR, or via the OSD if you find the right spot.
If it is truly undocumented, then hopefully someone here can help you, or you can stumble on it again. I would have thought it might be in the same area that allows you to adjust the delay on the various DSPs.
