Once you watch a lot of hockey games in HD it is really hard to watch an SD broadcast of it - especially the low quality A-Channel ones. If the game is close and interesting i'll still likely watch it all just because it's the Sens.

The last game was not A-Channel's fault. A-Channel does not broadcast the game, they just pick up the feed from whomever is providing it. One of the cameras was snookered at the start of the game -- white balance was way off or something. Unfortunately that was the main camera that shows most ofhte action. It was eventually fixed. A-Channel had nothing to do with it.

That said, I definitely agree with Darryl that. once you'd had a taste of HD, it's hard to watch SD. I usually end up watching on the smaller TV, and sit really far away -- that way it kinda looks sharp.

The A-Channel is a local station. Why would the arena allow a local station fromt he visitor's town to set up their own gar (cameras, operators, cables)? I'm not even sure if they have their own mobile setup.

This wasn't PPV. Why would it be any different from what countless other local stations do to show away games? They simply buy the feed from whoever has cameras in the place. No need to send their own crew -- saves money.
