I have just had a dvr530 installed and have never had sat tv before. During the installation, the installed stated the DVR530 was defective and ordered a new one. After recieving and installing the new one (myself), I have found I can record, rewind and watch live tv but I can not get a timed recorded program to show up on the DVR list. The DVR list is always empty.
Thoughts? Is this unit defective as well? |

Do you have a coax cable connected to both tuners on the DSR530. Tuner 1 is for live/buffered viewing, and tuner 2 is strictly for recording.

I am not sure, I will check. I set it up the same why the installed did, but I was unaware that the second port was for recording.
Thanks, |
