Recently heard that Moses Znaimer like the radio station so much, he bought it.
I listened to the "new" station this morning and am not impressed. On air female and male announcers are just plain awful. The station sounds like some faraway station from small town you catch riding on the 401, the commentators sound so amateurish and unrefined. He even changed the call letters from CFMX to CFMZ in sync with his initials. Really tacky. Bring back David Franco, I assume he's been canned. |

So thats why lately, most of the time I tune into the station, a commercial seems to be playing!

Hmmm... That could explain why after all these years the massive hum now is gone from the Left channel on DAB... :-)
It sounds great on DAB... Now for certain other broadcasters to clean up their poor audio (out of phase and non existing audio) on DAB... |

I find the frequent, noisy and often truly tacky commercials irritating. I don't have a problem with the announcers or the music selections. Going cutesy with the show title "Bill's Classical Jukebox" is to misread the audience. This station is for the car only, with a quick station change a button-push away.
